Cruelty
has a human heart,
And
Jealousy a human face;
Terror
the human form divine,
And
Secresy the human dress.
The
human dress is forged iron,
The
human form a fiery forge,
The
human face a furnace sealed,
The
human heart its hungry gorge.
UMA DIVINA IMAGEM
A
crueldade tem um coração humano,
E
o ciúme tem uma humana face;
O
terror, a forma humana divina,
E
o sigilo, a humana roupa.
A
roupa humana é forjada em ferro,
A
forma humana é uma ardente forja,
A
face humana uma fornalha fechada,
O
coração humano é sua garganta faminta.
